For a journalist, how great his writing is and how good his ability and forming relation, he will not be a good journalist if he do not keep the ethics.
There are many weaknesses in Myanmar weekly journals and monthly magazines, especially, daily newspaper. Some journals are in a bad in ethics that they would not have been in the hands of readers. I am not saying that there are not decent journalists. There are some. But it is not sufficient to improve the media. Some experts in Myanmar prefer to do other jobs.
Therefore about 80 percent of the journalists are not qualified enough even to write a story in unbiased way. For me, it is the most painful thing when I see some journalists lacking ethics, my sense of resistance arise. Although I want to improve the situation, even I do not have enough qualification.
